NAM is proud to be a sponsor for the 12th Annual Alley Oop for Autism 3-on-3 basketball tournament for the ninth year in row. Autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life; the result of this neurological disorder, which affects the functioning of the brain, is characterized by the absence of the innate ability to learn and communicate. More than 3.5 million individuals in the U.S. live with Autism.
NAM is a strong supporter of children and families who struggle with autism and is hopeful that its contribution will successfully kick-off the event. NAM also supports the Make a Wish Foundation and Charley's Fund.
