NAM is proud to be a sponsor for the 12th Annual Alley Oop for Autism 3-on-3 basketball tournament for the ninth year in row.  The event will be held at Jericho High School, Jericho, NY on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 12:00 p,m. – 6:30 p.m.  All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Family Center for Autism, Garden City, NY and the Anderson Center for Autism, Staatsburg, NY.

Autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life; the result of this neurological disorder, which affects the functioning of the brain, is characterized by the absence of the innate ability to learn and communicate. More than 3.5 million individuals in the U.S. live with Autism.

NAM is a strong supporter of children and families who struggle with autism and is hopeful that its contribution will successfully kick-off the event. NAM also supports the Make a Wish Foundation and Charley's Fund.
