Hon. Rudolph E. Greco, Jr. (Ret.)

Hon. Rudolph E. Greco, Jr. presided over thousands of jury trials and settlement conferences as a Justice of the Supreme Court, Eleventh Judicial District, Queens County. During his tenure on the bench, he heard a wide variety of personal injury matters including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall, premises liability, and construction related labor law claims, medical malpractice matters, construction litigation, business/ commercial, contract law, real estate entertainment and sports law disputes.

Judge Greco is well known for his integrity and broad range of knowledge of the law through his years of experience on the bench and private practice. Judge Greco relies upon his negotiation skills and empathic demeanor when conferencing cases or listening to both sides of an argument. He understands the needs of both sides in furtherance of his goal to assist the parties in reaching a resolution.

Prior to serving on the bench, Judge Greco, was engaged in private practice litigating civil, criminal and administrative matters. In addition to his litigation practice, Judge Greco handled transactional real estate matters, commercial landlord tenant disputes, commercial contracts, trusts and estates, and sport/entertainment matters. He has argued matters before the New York Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He also served as Pro Bono Counsel to the Metropolitan Amateur Boxing Federation and The Renaissance Charter School.

Judge Greco is civic minded and has focused his time and efforts in giving back to the community by coaching Pop Warner Football, organizing a benefit for Police Officer Steven McDonald, and serving as president of the Jackson Heights Beautification Group, where he advocated for landmarking of the Jackson Heights Historic District in Queens, better quality public schools, and increased police and municipal services.
