New York, NY (September 24, 2018) – NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation) is proud to announce that it has been ranked the #1 Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Provider in New York State by the New York Law Journal Annual Reader Rankings Survey for the eighth consecutive year.

Additionally, this year, NAM was named the Best ADR Firm in the United States by the 2018 National Law Journal Annual Reader Rankings Survey and was also voted the #1 National ADR Provider by the 2018 Corporate Counsel Best of Survey, among other recent awards and accolades. This is a testament to NAM's status as a leader in the ADR community.

The NYLJ survey also ranked the top mediators and arbitrators in the state, with two of NAM's neutrals, Susan Hernandez, Esq. and Joseph L. Ehrlich, Esq., placing first in the Individual Mediator and Individual Arbitrator categories, respectively. Seven of the Top 10 mediator spots and six of the Top 10 arbitrator spots were awarded to NAM neutrals, some of the most talented and respected practicing ADR professionals in the state.

The 2018 New York Law Journal Reader Rankings is not a scientific study or an editorial analysis but rather it is a democratic process. The program is run by the New York Law Journal sales and marketing teams at ALM. The voting was conducted via online ballot. Readers were notified of the ballot through direct emails, social media and online advertisements linking to the ballot across ALM's network of websites. The ballot consisted of 90+ categories encompassing the areas of Technology, Research, Accounting, Insurance, Financial Services, Litigation Support, Real Estate, Education, Recruiting & Staffing as well as Lifestyle and Client Entertainment. It included over 500 companies and allowed for a write-in option.
