HON. ELIZABETH BONINA TO PRESENT AT CLE PROGRAM HOSTED BY THE BAY RIDGE LAWYERS ASSOCIATION ON JANUARY 29, 2014

NAM panel member, Hon. Elizabeth Bonina, former Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Kings Co., is giving a CLE lecture on Wednesday, January 29th on the topic of “Contemporary Issues in Sports Law” at the Bay Ridge Lawyers Association in Brooklyn.

Judge Bonina was selected as the #1 Arbitrator and one of the top 10 Mediators in New York State by the 2013 New York Law Journal Reader Rankings Survey. She was previously selected as one of the top ten mediators in the State in surveys in 2010, 2011 and 2012. She is also the Chair of the Brooklyn Bar Association's Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee.

The lecture will cover trending legal topics in sports, including legal issues surrounding the Alex Rodriguez performance enhancing drugs case, the NFL concussion litigation, and the First Amendment rights of collegiate athletes. This is an excellent opportunity to meet one of NAM?s panel members from the NY Metro Region.

The lecture will take place during the monthly meeting of the Bay Ridge Lawyers Association on Wednesday, January 29th 7:00 pm at Hunter's Steak House, 9404 Fourth Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11209.

The Bay Ridge Lawyers Association is an approximately 400-member organization based in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The association's monthly meetings include CLE lectures on various topics.
