Hon. John DiBlasi has been invited to participate in the New York City Bar?s International Arbitration Institute on October 10, 2014 at the NYC Bar Association located at 42 West 44th Street, New York, NY. Hon. DiBlasi will join lawyers and arbitrators from all over the world addressing current issues and developments in the field of international arbitration. Judge DiBlasi will be speaking on the topic The Mediation Perspective. Other seminar topics include, trends in international arbitration, whether and where to arbitrate, selecting the arbitration panel, practical aspects of complex matters, examination of witnesses, the mediation perspective, presenting expert evidence, discovery, remedies and enforcement and ethical and other considerations.

Hon. John DiBlasi is ranked the #1 mediator in the United States by the National Law Journal Reader Rankings Survey. In addition to being ranked #1 nationally, Judge DiBlasi has been rated a top mediator in multiple categories in the New York Law Journal's annual survey, including the Best Individual Mediator category, Best International Mediator and Best Financial Markets Mediator category. He has also been voted one of the Top Ten arbitrators in New York State in the Best Individual Arbitrator category. Judge DiBlasi is the former presiding Justice of the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Westchester County, and creator of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program used successfully by that court. He has mediated over 2,000 cases and his ADR practice centers on resolving Commercial, International, Finance, Defamation, Employment, Entertainment, Land Use, and Professional Malpractice matters.
