HON. DAVID B. SAXE (Ret.) SERVES CO-APPELLATE COUNSEL IN ONE OF THE LARGEST PAIN AND SUFFERING AWARDS AFFIRMED BY AN APPELLATE COURT IN NEW YORK STATE
New York, NY (April 26, 2021) – NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation), one of the nation's leading providers of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services, is pleased to announce that in a recent tort case, the Appellate Division, First Department affirmed the highest award ever sustained in New York State for pain and suffering and loss of enjoyment of life – $20 million dollars. This award was a component part of a record $32.6 million dollar verdict in favor of a plaintiff who sustained traumatic brain injuries following a forklift injury.
