Susan Hernandez, Esq. has been invited to present a 60-minute CLE seminar entitled “Alternative Dispute Resolution: A Guide to Mediation” to Crum & Forster Company and Seneca Insurance Company on Friday, February 3, 2017.

Ms. Hernandez' seminar will focus on the benefits of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and the fundamental concepts of achieving success through the mediation process including ways to maximize the success of the mediation, preparing for the mediation, the facilitative and evaluative role of the mediator, the use of joint and break-out sessions, what to do when the parties reach an impasse and drafting the post-mediation agreement.

Susan Hernandez has mediated a wide variety of disputes involving insurance, insurance contracts, legal and medical malpractice, employment, premises liability, discrimination and personal injury. For the second year in a row, she was voted one of the Top Ten Mediators in New York State by the 2016 New York Law Journal Annual Reader Rankings Survey and was named a National Law Journal 2016 Alternative Dispute Resolution Champion, as part of a select group of only 48 nationwide.

Ms. Hernandez is available to mediate and arbitrate cases throughout New York State.
