NAM SPONSORS CROHN'S & COLITIS FOUNDATION FOR 6TH STRAIGHT YEAR
For the 6th year in a row, NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation) is honored to have the opportunity to sponsor the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). This year's Team Challenge event, Rock ‘n' Roll New Orleans Marathon & Half Marathon, will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Music will make up the heart and “sole” of this event as Team Challenge hits the streets of the Big Easy. Live bands set the tempo for this running party, where runners and spectators alike will be “dancin' in the streets”.
Team Challenge participants will raise vital funds for research, education and support for the 1.6 million Americans suffering from Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis – two debilitating digestive diseases that affect 1 in 200 Americans with as many as 150,000 under the age of 18. CCFA continues to make scientific advances in the fields of genetics, immunology and microbiology, leading to a greater understanding of the disease.
NAM continuously strives to help make a difference by getting involved with various charitable organizations and events throughout the year and is a strong supporter of children and families who struggle with Crohn's & Colitis. Additional charities that NAM has supported include: Alley Oop for Autism, Autism Speaks, Charley's fund, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Toys for Tots.
