New York, NY (November 8, 2020) – NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation), one of the nation's leading providers of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services, is pleased to announce that Hon. John P. DiBlasi, J.S.C. (Ret.) has been invited by the law firm L'Abbate, Balkan, Colavita & Contini LLP to present a live streaming CLE webinar, Inside the Mind of a Mediator: Avoiding Impasse and Maximizing Outcomes in Mediation. The presentation will be held virtually on Thursday, November 19th, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m to members of the firm.
Although mediation resolves most disputes, some mediations end in impasse. Such disappointments can usually be avoided and positive resolutions achieved when advocates are armed with knowledge of common mediation pitfalls and develop negotiation skills that can enhanced mediation outcomes.
Attendees will learn how appropriate preparation, smart brief-craft and thoughtful strategies during the mediation session – focused on the purpose, logistics and goals for the session – cannot only reduce the potential for failure, but also maximize results.
