Posted on Oct 22, 2019 |Community Events
For the 7th year in a row, NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation) is honored to be a sponsor of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). This year's newly created event is called Spin4 Crohn's & Colitis Cures and will be held at more than two dozen locations across the country. This premier 4-person indoor cycling event has raised millions of dollars to find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and provide support for the more than 3 million Americans living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). So hop on a bike and get pedaling for a cure!
The event will raise vital funds for research, education and support for the 1.6 million Americans suffering from Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis – two debilitating digestive diseases that affect 1 in 200 Americans with as many as 150,000 under the age of 18. CCFA continues to make scientific advances in the fields of genetics, immunology and microbiology, leading to a greater understanding of the disease.
NAM continuously strives to help make a difference by getting involved with various charitable organizations and events throughout the year and is a strong supporter of children and families who struggle with Crohn's & Colitis. Additional charities that NAM has supported include: Alley Oop for Autism, Autism Speaks, Charley's fund, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Toys for Tots.
