NAM TO ATTEND THE ABA FORUM ON CONSTRUCTION LAW, STICKS & BRICKS REGIONAL PROGRAM IN NEW YORK CITY
NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation), one of the nation's leading providers of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services, is proud to announce that it will attend the American Bar Association's (ABA) 2019 Forum on Construction Law: Sticks & Bricks Regional Program on Friday, September 20th. The Forum will be held at the American Institute of Architects, New York Chapter, 536 LaGuardia Place, New York, NY.
Members of the Forum represent all segments of the construction industry: owners, design professionals, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, insurers and sureties. The Forum's mission is to serve the construction industry through education and leadership while Building the Best Construction Lawyers.
Taught by leading industry professionals in each locale, this program presents a unique opportunity for both new and seasoned construction lawyers, and for owners, contractors, and other construction industry participants, to learn the key elements of all aspects of construction systems and technology that arise in “vertical” construction projects – from site work and foundations to structural steel; from building enclosures to mechanical systems.
Attendees will acquire the knowledge necessary to comprehend complex technical concepts, identify and anticipate legal risks, counsel their clients more competently, ask better questions, and deliver greater value when engaged on construction projects. In addition to New York City, the ABA's Forum on Construction Law is bringing its 2019 Regional Program, Sticks & Bricks, to three other locations across the country: Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL and Sacramento, CA.
