SUFFOLK COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION TO HOLD ITS 110TH ANNUAL INSTALLATION DINNER DANCE

The Suffolk County Bar Association will hold it's 110th Annual Installation Dinner Dance on Friday, June 15, 2018, at East Wind, 5720 Route 25A, Wading River, NY, 11792. The theme of this year's event is “Practice Excellence”. Those being honored and installed include Justin M. Block as President, Lynn Poster-Zimmerman as President Elect, Derrick J. Robinson as First Vice-President, Daniel J. Tambasco, as Second Vice President and Cornell V. Bouse, as Secretary. Other awards being presented include the President's Award, Director's Awards and Professionalism Award.

NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation) Neutrals, Hon. Daniel Palmieri and Hon. Peter B. Skelos will attend the event on behalf of NAM.

Judge Palmieri's long and distinguished 25-plus year judicial career includes 7 years as Justice of the Supreme Court, Tenth Judicial District. He has had numerous decisions published in the New York State Official Reports. He has handled a wide variety of cases both as a jurist and as a practitioner which include commercial, labor law, litigation, construction, professional liability, tort and product liability, matrimonial, real estate and personal injury.

Judge Skelos is a former Associate Justice of the Appellate Division, 2nd Department. He is well-versed in the law and is a highly regarded mediator and arbitrator for NAM. He hears a wide variety of case types including construction, commercial, professional liability, insurance coverage, matrimonial, medical malpractice and personal injury matters. For the second year in a row, in 2017, Judge Skelos was voted a Top Ten Mediator by The New York Law Journal Annual Reader Rankings Survey. He was also named a National Law Journal 2018 Alternative Dispute Resolution Champion, as part of select group of 46 only nationwide.
