Michael R. Rossi, Esq.

For the second year in a row, Michael R. Rossi, Esq. was voted a Top Ten Arbitrator in New York State in the 2017 New York Law Journal Annual Reader Rankings Survey. He has been a proponent of ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) for over 20 years, and as a neutral, approaches each side fairly and objectively, with the keen ability to bring parties together. Mr. Rossi began his career at the NYC Corporation Counsel, Tort Division, and soon thereafter became trial counsel to the defense bar trying cases throughout the five boroughs of New York City. Most recently, Mr. Rossi has been a partner in a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm handling all trials and litigation. Throughout his career he has handled in excess of one thousand matters, and has tried and litigated a diverse caseload involving areas of construction, premises liability, labor law, auto, product liability and medical malpractice from inception through trial.

Mr. Rossi has served as a mediator in the Nassau County Supreme Court handling cases including negligence, personal injury, construction, insurance, municipal and contracts – both commercial and real property. Through his experience, manner and many years of practice, Mr. Rossi has garnered a reputation for being fair, reasonale, and approachable. He can quickly evaluate a case, astutely assess relevant issues, and effectively guide the parties and counsel to a fair and impartial resolution. Familiar to many practicing attorneys in the New York metropolitan area as well as Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties, he has earned the respect from both plaintiff and defense lawyers alike.

Mr. Rossi is on NAM’s New York Metro roster and is available to mediate and arbitrate cases throughout New York State.
