HON. JOHN P. DIBLASI JOINS MISSION K9 RESCUE TO RING THE NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE OPENING BELL

NAM is proud to announce that Hon. John P. DiBlasi will join the officials and representatives of Mission K9 Rescue to ring The New York Stock Exchange Opening Bell® on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. K9 Rescue Mission is a non-profit organization dedicated to the service of retiring and retired Military Working Dogs and Contract Working Dogs. The sole purpose of Mission K9 Rescue is to raise funds for working dogs that have served their country bravely, transport them home from overseas and reunite them with their former military handlers. Judge DiBlasi, a longtime supporter of Mission K9 Rescue, shares the organization's passion and respect for these working warriors. He also serves on the advisory board of the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) of Westchester County and is a former member of its Board of Directors.

Mission K9 is based in Houston, Texas and has satellite offices in San Antonio and Los Angeles and supports Working Dogs worldwide. Their mission is to “Rescue, Reunite, Re-Home, Rehabilitate and Repair” any retired working dog that has served mankind in some capacity. Honorable DiBlasi is the former presiding Justice of the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Westchester County. For the fourth consecutive year, he was voted the #1 mediator in the United States in the 2017 National Law Journal Annual Reader Rankings Survey and for the second year in a row, he was named a National Law Journal 2017 Alternative Dispute Resolution Champion, as part of a select group of only 37 nationwide. He was also voted one of the Top 10 mediators in the 2016 New York Law Journal Annual Reader Rankings Survey for the seventh straight year. Judge DiBlasi has arbitrated and mediated over 3,000 cases and his ADR practice centers on resolving Commercial, International, Finance, Employment, Entertainment, Land Use, and Professional Malpractice matters.
