On Thursday, November 12th, the NYCLA's (New York County Lawyers Association) ADR Committee conducted an online/virtual meeting. Committee members and more than 40 invited guests had the honor of hearing three prestigious speakers from NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation) — Hon. John P. DiBlasi, J.S.C. (Ret.), Richard P. Byrne, Esq., Commercial Law Specialist, and Jacqueline Silvey, Esq., General Counsel. They discussed NAM's New York and national operations in the age of COVID and more generally, during this unprecedented time, insights. tips and best practices about alternative dispute resolution (ADR), including a trip “inside the mind of the mediator.” The highly regarded speakers were not only informative but entertaining, timely, and well-received by everyone who attended.
