Posted on Sep 04, 2019 |Community Events
In support of the CLM (Claims and Litigation Management Alliance) and the continued education of claims professionals across the country, NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation) is proud to announce that it will participate as a first year Gold Level Sponsor at the CLM (Claims and Litigation Management Alliance) 2019 Claims College.
During this four-day event, NAM will be joined by more than 1,000 chief claims officers, claims professionals, students and law firms. The Claims College will be held at the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront in Baltimore, Maryland from Wednesday, September 4th through Saturday, September 7th. Attendees are encouraged to stop by the NAM booth located in the exhibit hall, to learn more about NAM, its award-winning nationwide panel of neutrals, and how we work with insurance professionals, carriers, and their outside counsel across the country to provide innovative dispute resolution solutions.
CLM Claims College was established in 2012 and enlists some of the industry's top professionals to create and teach courses within their areas of expertise in the college's eleven specialty schools. The Schools of Casualty Claims, Construction, Cyber Claims, Insurance Fraud, Professional Lines, Property Claims, Transportation and Workers Compensation are three-level programs. Upon successful completion of these Schools, students earn their Certified Claims Professional (CCP) in that specialty. The Schools of Claims Mediation, Extra-Contractual Claims and Leadership are one-level programs. Upon successful completion of these Schools, participants earn a Certificate of Completion for that program. Since its inception, hundreds of students have attended Claims College and nearly 300 have earned their CCP designation.
