New York, NY (December 14, 2020) – NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation), one of the nation's leading providers of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services, is pleased to announce that Hon. Peter P. Skelos (Ret.), James W. Borkowski, Esq. and Jennifer Herscovici, Esq. have been invited to present a live streaming continuing legal education (CLE) webinar, Inside the Mind of A Mediator: Avoiding Impasse and Maximizing Outcomes in Mediation.
The presentation is part of a two-day 16-Hour Bridge-the-Gap: Corporate & Litigation program and will be held virtually on Friday, January 22nd. This program fulfills a full year's credit requirements for those who are newly admitted , while providing invaluable information and credits for more experienced attorneys.
Although mediation resolves most disputes, some mediations end in impasse. Such disappointments can usually be avoided and positive resolutions achieved when advocates are armed with knowledge of common mediation pitfalls and develop negotiation skills that can enhance mediation outcomes.
Join, Judge Skelos, Mr. Borkowski and Ms. Herscovici and learn how appropriate preparation, smart brief-craft, and thoughtful strategies during the mediation session — focused on the purpose, logistics and goals for the session — can not only reduce the potential for failure, but maximize results.
Judge Skelos, Mr. Borkowski, and Ms. Herscovici are available to arbitrate and mediate cases throughout the New York Metro area.
