HON. E. MICHAEL KAVANAGH INVITED BY THE ULSTER COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION TO SPEAK ON ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Hon. E. Michael Kavanagh recently spoke at the Ulster County Bar Association's monthly meeting about the benefits of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) where he offered practical tips and shared his first hand experiences as a mediator and arbitrator. Judge Kavanagh is an avid supporter of ADR and is often asked to participate in Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars and speaking engagements to bar associations and legal groups
Since joining NAM, Judge Kavanagh has arbitrated and mediated hundreds of cases including Complex Commercial, Construction, Labor and Employment, Legal Malpractice, Product Liability and Personal Injury matters involving settlements in the amounts of six figures and greater. Additionally, for the fourth year in a row, Hon. Kavanagh has been ranked a Top Ten Arbitrator in the 2016 New York Law Journal Annual Reader Rankings Survey.
