HON. JOHN DIBLASI AND HON. JEROME GORSKI TO SPEAK AT THE FALL 2013 NYSBA CLE PROGRAM ON MEDIATING PRODUCTS LIABILITY CASES

Hon. DiBlasi and Hon. Gorski will be providing their insight into the mediation of a products liability case including discussion on when to mediate, the right case for mediation, special considerations in mediating the products case, preparing the submissions and preparing counsel and the client for the mediation session.

Hon. Gorski will be speaking at the Buffalo session on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the Holiday Inn Amherst, 1881 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst, NY. Judge Gorski is former Justice of the Appellate Division of the State of New York, Fourth Dept. While on the bench, Judge Gorski was known for his strong negotiating and settlement skills which he now uses when mediating cases. He is highly regarded by members of the bar and is selected by counsel to assist in the resolution of a myriad of case types including complex commercial, contracts, products liability and personal injury matters.

Hon. DiBlasi will be speaking at the NYC session on October 24, 2013 at the Holiday Inn Manhattan, 440 West 57th Street, New York, NY. Judge DiBlasi has been named by the New York Law Journal Reader Rankings as one of the top ten mediators in New York State in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Prior accolades also include being voted into the #1 spot in the “Best International Mediator” category, and into the top 5 “Best Financial Markets Mediator” category in 2012. Judge DiBlasi has mediated over 2,000 cases and facilitated the settlement of complex commercial matters involving contracts, products liability, employment, entertainment law, real property/land use matters, in addition to complex personal injury and labor law matters. He is the former presiding Justice of the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York and creator of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program used successfully by the Supreme Court, Westchester County.
