(Ret.) has been invited to present a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar entitled, Secrets of a Sucessful Negotiation to attorneys at Moses & Singer, LLP. The 1-hour CLE program will be held at the law firm's Manhattan offices located at 405 Lexington Avenue on Wednesday, January 22nd.

Participants will learn practical negotiation techniques to maximize successful outcomes in mediation and will address ways to refine negotiating skills and strategies when dealing with hard-bargaining tactics. The interactive program will also provide attendees with tips on how to negotiate such key provisions as representations and warranties, intellectual property, and pricing, as well as practical guidance on partnering with management on high-stake negotiations. Tips will include:

  • Tip #8 – Give Yourself Room to Bargain

About NAM's Presenter
Hon. John P. DiBlasi is a former Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Commercial Division and has mediated thousands of cases throughout his career. He is experienced in resolving cases across a wide array of legal practice areas, including commercial, class action, construction, employment disputes, environmental, finance, insurance, international, land use, and professional liability, among others.
