Rhonda L. Epstein, Esq.| Employment Law Specialist | NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation)
Ms. Epstein is a seasoned litigator who has dedicated her career to the practice of labor and employment law. With more than 35 years of wide-ranging experience in civil litigation, she has handled cases arising under The American with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, Section 1981, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Housing Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act, as well as the New York State Executive Law, and the New York City Administrative Code. Ms. Epstein served as a Supervising Attorney for a prominent New York law firm and as In-House Counsel for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. She is a longtime proponent of Alternative Dispute Resolution, and has successfully counseled, supervised, and mediated employment law cases related to claims of age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, religion, and pregnancy discrimination. She has been awarded an AV Preeminent Peer Rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
James J. Wrynn, Esq. | Former Superintendent of New York State Insurance Department| NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation)
Mr. Wrynn brings more than 30 years of professional experience as an attorney, regulator, executive and strategic advisor in the domestic and global insurance and regulatory sectors. He has garnered a reputation as a premier authority on domestic and global insurance regulation and related strategic and risk management matters. Prior to joining NAM, Mr. Wrynn served as the 40th and last Superintendent of Insurance in the State of New York. Having held senior positions with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), Mr. Wrynn is well-versed in state, national and international regulations and policies governing the insurance industry. His experience also includes work with insurers, reinsurers, private equity/hedge funds, banks/investment banks, captives, agents, brokers, third party administrators, investors, regulators, corporations and law firms to address complex strategic and tactical issues of local, regional, national and international importance. He is a longtime advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and draws upon his many years of experience when mediating and arbitrating in the private ADR Forum.
Ms. Epstein and Mr. Wrynn are available to arbitrate and mediate cases throughout the United States.
